College & Career Immersion

We are a college & career immersion school. Our curriculum is a hyper-personalized dual enrollment program where high school students take COLLEGE CLASSES ON THE COLLEGE CAMPUS BEGINNING AS EARLY AS THE NINTH GRADE. GEO pays for everything and provides academic, social, and emotional support so that students learn real-life skills and develop the confidence necessary to earn poverty-busting degrees by the time they graduate from high school.

School Snapshot

Since opening in 2019, GEO Next Generation has set the standard for academic excellence as Baton Rouge’s top-performing high school. The school continues to raise the bar each year: in 2023, 10% of graduates earned associate degrees before finishing high school; in 2024, that number doubled to 20%; and in 2025, an impressive 30% of graduates achieved this milestone. Building on this success, GEO is expanding its partnership with BRCC for the 2025–2026 school year, ensuring that 100% of juniors and seniors will take both college and career courses alongside their high school classes on BRCC’s Acadian campus.
