GEO Next Gen High School understands the value of providing a well-rounded athletic program to encourage and support our scholars in a team environment. It is part of our model that prepares our scholars academically as well as motivate and cultivate teamwork, togetherness and school pride. Athletics provide a foundation to build strength of character, determination and self-discipline–skills they will use throughout their lives.

2024 Graduating Athletes
Student First - Then athletics
Several of our student-athletes participate in our dual enrollment program. GEO offers student-athletes the opportunity to earn college credits, free of charge, while attending high school.
The class of 2024 valedictorian was a member of both the volleyball and girls' basketball team. There were a total of 7 student-athletes in Basketball, Volleyball, and Band to receive their associate degree from Baton Rouge Community College.
